Privacy Policy

Kadrio is an AI-powered service that turns long videos into short vertical clips. This policy is the short product-facing version. Russian users have a more detailed legal document — Consent to Personal Data Processing under Federal Law 152-FZ.
Who we are
Kadrio (kadrio.ai) is built by Igor Popov, a Russian self-employed individual (samozanyatyy) under Federal Law 422-FZ. Tax ID: 771476601234. Contact: igor.popov.me@gmail.com.
What we collect
We store only what's needed for the service: • your email — for sign-in and notifications; • videos/audio you upload — processed and kept according to your plan's retention policy. These files may contain biometric data (faces, voices) — you give a separate consent at upload time; • transcripts and generated clips — tied to your account; • technical logs (IP, user agent) — for security and diagnostics, deleted after 30 days. We don't pull data about you from third parties and don't buy any.
How we use the data
Email — to send magic-link sign-in and notify you when clips are ready or about billing. Uploaded content — only to process it inside your account (transcription, AI moment selection, rendering). We don't use your content to train models, and we don't show it to other users.
Third-party services
Kadrio relies on: • Selectel (Selectel JSC, Russia) — Managed PostgreSQL and S3 object storage for videos, clips and database. This is our primary and only data store. No external CDN — content is delivered directly from Selectel S3; • AssemblyAI (USA) — automatic speech transcription; • Anthropic Claude (USA) — AI moment selection from transcripts; • Resend (USA) — transactional email delivery; • Robokassa (Platezhi i Raschety NKO JSC, Russia) — ruble payment processing; • Coolify on a Selectel Cloud Server in Moscow — application hosting (Russia-based contour for FZ-152 compliance). • Yandex Metrica (Yandex LLC, Russia) — website analytics; loaded ONLY after you consent via the cookie banner, data processed in Russia; Each sees only the slice of data needed for its job. Storage and deletion
Files and clips are kept until you delete the job in your dashboard or until your plan's retention period expires (Free — 7 days, Starter — subscription + 14 days, Pro — subscription + 30 days, Business — subscription + 90 days). Deleting a job cascades to its clips, transcript, and preview frames. Full account deletion — by email request to the address above; account and all related personal data are erased within 30 days. For Russian users, primary recording and storage of personal data happens on Selectel servers in Russia under part 5 of article 18 of Federal Law 152-FZ.
Cookies
We use two kinds of cookies. (1) Strictly necessary session cookies for sign-in (Auth.js): a session token and CSRF protection — sign-in is impossible without them, and they don't require consent. (2) Yandex Metrica analytics cookies (Yandex LLC, Russia) — set ONLY after you consent via the cookie banner on your first visit; you can choose 'Necessary only' to decline them, in which case Metrica is not loaded. We do NOT use advertising cookies or third-party trackers such as Google Analytics or Facebook Pixel. Yandex Metrica data is processed on servers in Russia. You can disable cookies entirely in your browser settings, but the Service won't be able to authenticate you then.
Your rights
You can at any time: • view your data — /dashboard; • delete individual jobs — «Delete» button in the list; • request full account deletion — by email.
